Lately, I’ve been starting my blogs with my own commentary. Today, I will begin with the Blessed Word of God, for it is vitally important that we understand these principles. In Genesis 2:18-25, the Scriptures plainly say:

“And the LORD God said, ‘It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.’ Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

And Adam said:
‘This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.’

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” (New King James Version)

Again, in Matthew 19:3-6, the Word of God states the following:

“The Pharisees also came to Him (Jesus), testing Him, and saying to Him, ‘Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?’

And He answered and said to them, ‘Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.’” (NKJV)

I have always taught that we need to read the Scriptures correctly, and that they are unambiguous. Carefully consider what these two passages of God’s Word plainly teach. In light of the landmark Supreme Court case going on right now, where it is being argued that biological males should be allowed to participate in girl’s sports, consider what the ultimate authority, our LORD, clearly says in His Word. Our LORD clearly states in His Word that from the beginning, He created two genders, male and female. He could not be more clear about it than He is in His Blessed Word.

So then, what are we to do with the whole transgender question? I submit to you that there are no such things as transgender or any other “sex” in the eyes of God, other than male and female. God did not create hundreds of different sexes because He is not a God of confusion. You don’t get to suddenly decide that you’re female when you were clearly born a male and vice versa. Now, I must point out here that there are people who are born as hermaphrodites, those who have both sexes, which is due to genetic abnormalities. These are clearly medical conditions that need to be treated. No, I am talking about the whole transgender movement, those people who say that a man can become a woman or a woman can become a man, or that there are hundreds of sexes, simply because that’s the way they feel. I’ll say it as plainly as I can say it, this whole thing is a lie of the enemy, meant to confuse mankind. The enemy is the purveyor of all sorts of lies. It started in the Garden of Eden when he lied to Eve and told her that she would not die if she ate of the forbidden fruit. I ask you, how did that turn out for us? The enemy of God is the father of lies. It would stand to reason that he would take God’s perfect plan for the sexuality of men and women and pervert it.

I believe that at this point, we need to stop and also address the abomination of homosexuality. Again, we need to turn to God’s Word in the writings of the Apostle Paul.

In Romans 1:18-32, Paul writes:

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” (NKJV)

I will ask you one thing, could the Apostle Paul have been any more clear than he was in this passage? Many people argue that Christians who teach that homosexuality is wrong do so based on Old Testament prohibitions. Here we have a statement by the Apostle Paul in the New Testament. Clearly, the Word of God teaches in the Old and New Testaments that homosexuality is an abomination before God. If you don’t like that we, as God’s people, teach that homosexuality is wrong, then you don’t have a problem with us, you have a problem with God Himself.

So, what is the final conclusion of all of this? First, transgenderism is a figment of the imagination of people who defy the natural order of God’s creation. Second, homosexuality is wrong in the eyes of God, and anyone who practices homosexuality and dies in their sin will not enter God’s Kingdom. Again, God says this, not me. And finally, sex is designed by God to be enjoyed in the context of a marriage between one man and one woman. That, my Friends, is the Truth of God, and if you don’t like it, take it up with Him.

I’ve said it before, the Scriptures are the blueprint for life. If you believe in them and you follow them, which means you also follow Christ, you will live forever with God. If you don’t, and that is your absolute right, by the way, you will perish. I cannot be more clear than that. As I’ve also asked you before, choose this day whom you will serve, our Blessed God, who offers you freedom in Christ Jesus, or the enemy of our souls, who only offers bondage in sin and the eternal death that results from that bondage.

In the end, you will not be able to say that our LORD and that we, as His people, did not warn you. Read the Word of God for yourself and see that God loves you, and that through the Gospel of our Blessed LORD Jesus Christ, He invites you to be a part of His Family, where you can enjoy the ultimate Freedom found only in Him. Amen.
