Vazquez Ministries
Serving Christ by Serving Others
On July 1, 2026, Laura and I took a step toward a dream God had placed on our hearts many years ago. We filed the paperwork to establish Vazquez Counseling and Ministries Inc.
Our desire is to create a ministry arm of Vazquez Counseling dedicated to serving people who are hurting, forgotten, sick, imprisoned, or otherwise suffering—and to bring them the hope of Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
As Jesus Christ’s hands and feet, we’ll bless people in hospitals, prisons, and orphanages, and preach and teach the Gospel, all in our LORD’s name. Amen.
Jesus said:
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” — Matthew 28:19–20
This is the heart of our ministry: to make disciples, teach the Gospel, and serve others in the name of Jesus Christ.
Serving the Poor in Spirit
Jesus said:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.” — Matthew 5:3
Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus showed compassion to people who were sick, poor, rejected, imprisoned, and suffering. He did not simply preach to people; He cared for them.
We believe His followers are called to do the same.
Vazquez Ministries will seek opportunities to serve people in hospitals, prisons, orphanages, churches, communities, and wherever else God leads us.
Our ministry will focus on:
Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Making and teaching disciples.
Praying with and encouraging those who are suffering.
Serving the poor, vulnerable, and forgotten.
Visiting and ministering to prisoners.
Ministering to people in hospitals and other places of suffering.
Supporting children and others in need.
Partnering with churches and other organizations to advance the Gospel.
Faith in Action
Christianity is not merely something we profess on Sunday. Following Jesus means allowing our faith to shape the way we live every day.
Scripture tells us:
“Remember the prisoners, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated, as though you yourselves were suffering bodily.” — Hebrews 13:3
We want Vazquez Ministries to be a place where faith becomes action.
We are not seeking fame, wealth, or recognition. We simply want to be faithful with whatever God places before us.
If He gives us the opportunity to serve one person, we will serve that person. If He opens the door to serve hundreds, we will serve hundreds.
Our responsibility is not to determine how large this ministry becomes.
Our responsibility is to be faithful.
A Ministry Just Beginning
Vazquez Counseling and Ministries Inc. is just beginning, and we are excited to see where God leads us.
As the ministry grows, this page will be expanded with ministry updates, outreach opportunities, testimonies, and ways for others to become involved.
We may not know exactly where this journey will take us, but we know Who is leading us.
Our prayer is simple:
Lord Jesus, make us useful to You. Give us eyes to see those who are hurting, hearts willing to serve, courage to proclaim Your Gospel, and humility to remember that this ministry belongs to You.
May we faithfully serve as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ wherever He sends us.
May the God of the universe—the Almighty and all-loving King—bless you and your loved ones.
Amen and Amen.
